譲り受けられたジュエリーとお持ちのジュエリーをお使いしてリフォームさせていただきました。
カバがお好きなお客様、大きなカバと小さなカバたちがいるジュエリーを作らせていただきました。
大きなカバはブローチの中に。色とりどりの宝石に囲まれて意気揚々と、今にも歩みだしそうです。
分厚い皮膚を持つカバ、その皮膚の感じを表わせたのではと、私も意気揚々と仕上げました。
たくさんの宝石を１石づつ、ミル打ちでこつこつ、爪留めでもこつこつ、丁寧にお留めしました。
ハートのオパールが舞い、ウキウキしているように見えますね。
背中の３羽の小鳥が見えますでしょうか？
ダイヤがきらめく可愛い小鳥たち、大きな背中に安心してとまっているようです。
小さなカバたちは、ダイヤネックレスに潜んでおります。
メインのダイヤは２カラットの美しい大粒のお石、一粒ネックレスへリフォームするとフォーマルすぎてお使いになる機会が少ないのではと、少しカジュアルに楽しんでいただけるよう、Yチェーンのネックレスへリフォームさせていただきました。
ダイヤの下に、三角のダイヤモンド、イニシャルの“C”、そして３頭のカバたちが楽しそうに弾んでおります。
We used the jewelry you inherited together with the jewelry you already owned to carry out a reform.
Since the customer loves hippos, we created jewelry in which there are a big hippo and little hippos.
The big hippo is inside the brooch. Surrounded by colorful gemstones, it looks spirited, as if about to step forward.
With its thick skin, I felt I was able to express the texture of that skin, and I too finished the piece with high spirits.
Each gemstone was carefully set one by one—steadily with milgrain, steadily with prongs, all done with care.
The heart-shaped opal seems to be fluttering, looking as if it is happily excited.

The cute little birds sparkling with diamonds appear to be resting with ease on the big back.
The little hippos are hidden in the diamond necklace.
The main diamond is a beautiful large stone of 2 carats. If reformed into a single-stone necklace, it might be too formal and reduce the occasions to wear it, so we reformed it into a Y-chain necklace so that it can be enjoyed a bit more casually.
Below the diamond, a triangular diamond, the initial “C,” and three hippos are bouncing joyfully.
